Closets

Production Notes

The latest project from Owigi Films in conjunction with Old World Producers Group and Cool Wave Pictures is a tense, disturbing supernatural thriller --- "Closets". This very smart offering is headlined by veteran film and television actor Corbin Bernsen, who plays hard-charging Grant Erickson. Bernsen’s many credits include nearly a hundred features, including Major League, Major League II, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and many, many others. He’s also been a regular on TV’s General Hospital and currently stars in USA Network’s Psych. Rounding out the cast are Arizona actors Lanny Rethaber as Jonas Littleton, Patrick Adam as Ron Tippard, exotic beauty Orchid Tao as Ellie French and Sallie Glaner as Wendy Erickson, along with outstanding performances by local supporting players Steve Furedy as Ferdie, the nosey neighbor and Amy Searcy as Esmerelda, the fortune teller. The cast also includes local TV news favorite, Mike Watkiss and radio personality, Pete Kelly. Veteran director Charles Peterson directs from a screenplay hammered out by prolific genre writer, Chicago’s Bob Madia and Phoenix’s own David C. Hayes.

Pushing the envelope of paranormal encounters, "Closets" tells the spooky story of a loving, but tormented husband and father, Jonas Littleton who has had everything taken from him by a not-from-this-world demon. His only way to redeem himself is to track down and vanquish the demon. His company, Paranormal Investigations, Incorporated gives him the means to do just that.

"The gruesome death scenes in this film are uniquely original and will have an effect on you long after you leave the theatre", claims Director Peterson.

"Driven by an early encounter with The Entity that caused the death of an innocent child and resulted in his own incarceration, Jonas Littleton (Rethaber) is relentless in his pursuit of this demon. He is plagued by guilt and alcohol and doesn’t mind either. His ghost hunting team knows that he could erupt at any time and only their loyalty to him keep them on point.”, says Executive Producer Ann Rethaber. "Littleton works hard to control his rage but boils over with each disappointment as he continues to pursue his demon…a demon who uses everyday, common portals to step into normal human existence to carry out her carnage … closets.”.
